Common FAQ’s
Here are some frequently asked questions and answers that we hope will help:
We run weekly markets across Sussex, including Brighton, Lewes, Hove, and surrounding villages. You can check our Markets page for a full timetable and locations.
Not always! We recently compared baskets and came out cheaper than some supermarkets. Plus, your money goes straight to farmers instead of supply chains.

We sell fresh, seasonal produce from Sussex farmers and makers — fruit, veg, meat, dairy, bread, pantry staples, and more. Everything is locally sourced, transparent, and high quality.
We run rain or shine! Some shoppers pop by for the essentials in bad weather, but our produce is there regardless.
Yes — Christmas orders can be ordered online for collection at one of our special Christmas Markets. Regular Click&Collect will be available during 2026.
Absolutely. You can pre order now for Christmas produce, including turkeys, gammon, beef, lamb, smoked salmon, seasonal veg, cheese, and festive treats. Ordering ahead guarantees your food and supports local farms. See our full range here.
Not everything is certified organic. We work with a mix of organic, biodynamic, regenerative, and small trusted farms. Some follow organic principles but don’t have certification — meaning you can speak directly with the grower about how they farm. Please see our Farming Glossary for more information.
