All of our cheese comes predominantly from three Sussex cheesemakers: Highweald Dairy, Alsopp & Walker, and The Traditional Cheese.
You can choose between three different sizes:
• 3 cheese: Cheddar, Brie, Blue cheese
• 5 cheese: Cheddar, Brie, Blue cheese, Sussex Marble, Slipcote
• 7 cheese: Cheddar, Brie, Blue cheese, Sussex Marble, Slipcote, Goodweald Smoked, Sister Sarah
Our Sussex Charmer cheddar combines the creaminess of a mature farmhouse cheddar with the zing of an Italian Style Hard Cheese.
Alsopp & Walker Brie is made from pasteurised cow’s milk with a mellow flavour and a hint of nuttiness. The texture is soft and sometimes slightly runny.
Brighton Blue is a mild, semi-soft cheese with a mellow blue flavour. It has a slightly salty finish with a delicious melt in the mouth texture.
Sussex Marble is a delicious cheese made from our Saint Giles cheese, with the addition of garlic and parsley. It has very buttery texture and melts extremely well, making it a great cheese to cook with.
Sussex Slipcote is a fresh soft sheep cheese made with 100% organic sheep milk, and has a light, creamy texture, that melts in the mouth, and a slightly sharp refreshing flavour.
Our Goodweald Smoked is a raw hard farmhouse cheese that has been naturally smoked over oak chippings by the award winning Weald smokery. Creating a rich, full bodied and pleasant toasted aroma.
Sister Sarah is a semi-soft goats’ milk cheese that is matured for 8-12 weeks. It has a light, delicious flavour without too much of the ‘goatiness’ which is associated with a goat cheese.
