Yoghurt Pancakes
Light and fluffy pancakes
Perfect with Fruit compote or crispy bacon!
120g flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Bicarb of soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
250ml Plawhatch Live yoghurt (whole milk will work here)
2 eggs
2 tablespoons butter (melted, or vegetable oil)
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. In a separate bowl whisk together the yogurt and eggs, Add the yogurt-egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir to combine then stir in the melted butter or oil
Brush oil onto the hot griddle or pan and spoon the batter into even cakes and let cook until bubbles form on the surface of the cakes – about 2 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 mins and serve while nice and hot.
